Police law governs the area of law relating to claims against the police such as challenges to police decisions, damages claims due to police misconduct, judicial review and damages claims, use of police powers, privacy rights, deaths in custody etc.

Professional negligence is very similar to 'clinical negligence' so check that tab out. The difference is the negligence claims here are against professionals like accountants or solicitors that provided a negligent service to clients so now the client wants compensation to cover the damage.

Real Estate Finance is the area of law that governs financing property i.e. using property or other forms of 'real estate' as security for loans or other forms of finance from the bank/lenders. Real Estate Finance lawyers will do due diligence on the real estate being used as security to ensure it is good security (i.e. it is worth the amount being loaned).

Check out the 'Litigation' tab for a full breakdown of what is involved in the role of a litigation lawyer. Real Estate Litigation is dealing with legal disputes that arise over land such as adverse possession claims, anti social behaviour of neighbours, breaches of property deeds etc. It can be bother commercial (generally business tenancy related) or residential!
